Xiaoyi Peng

My name is Xiaoyi Peng 彭笑一, but you can just call me Showry. I just graduated from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the summer of 2025. I have a strong interest in public health, environmental sustainability and artificial intelligence. I'm passionate about leveraging computational approaches and novel data sources to address pressing real-world public health challenges, especially focusing on disadvantaged populations and communities. My goal is to help mitigate and prevent the suffering caused by social inequity and invisible environmental pollutants. Ultimately, I want to contribute to building a world where humans can coexist respectfully with the environment and other species on our shared planet. Outside of work, I enjoy photography, cycling, running, and freediving.
